At Padel4Good, every tournament is more than just a game—it’s a way to make a positive impact! Thanks to the players who bought entries to take part in the upcoming November Women’s Tournament on Saturday 16th, who helped us raise R5000 for Happy Kids Day Care.

Together, we’re not only sharing the sport we love but also helping local charities!

Happy Kids Day Care is a remarkable initiative discovered in March in a struggling settlement near Ballito, which urgently needed support. Happy Kids initially faced serious obstacles, but with the generous backing from community members, the daycare’s transformation has been nothing short of miraculous.

Through dedicated teamwork and donated resources, the building has been upgraded, toilets are being installed, and fencing has been added to create a safe and inviting space for the children.

This wonderful daycare now provides care, early learning, and essential meals to 24 children between the ages of 1 and 5. The center is beautifully run by Norma and her assistant, Pumi, who live within the community and are passionate about nurturing the children’s growth. Supported by volunteer teachers who bring lessons and activities each week, Norma and Pumi have cultivated a warm, engaging learning environment.

The children are thriving—they’re not only growing but also learning valuable skills and displaying heartwarming behavior improvements.

The R5000 donation will help Happy Kids take the next step toward growth by funding an additional classroom. This expansion will allow the daycare to separate toddlers from preschoolers, enhancing the learning experience for everyone.

Happy Kids will be able to provide the space needed to continue making a lasting difference and we couldn’t be more thrilled to support this initiative!
