Held Friday, 14 June 2025 | Racket + Ball Padel Club, Bree Street, Cape Town.
Despite Cape Town’s wet and wintry weather, the courts were on fire this past Friday night as 32 dedicated players gathered at the Racket + Ball Padel Club for our Men’s Padel4Good Tournament – the second men’s event for 2025.
With fast serves, fierce rallies, and plenty of competitive spirit, the tournament saw players battling it out under the Bree Street lights for a place in the final. After some truly gripping games, it all came down to a high-energy face-off between:
Paul Atkinson & Anthony Scholtz
vs.
Bryce Wigston & David Allardice
After a close and thrilling match, Bryce and David took the win with a final score of 6–4. A massive well done to them and to Paul and Anthony for putting up such a strong fight. And, of course, congratulations to all our teams who came out not just to play, but to be part of something bigger — playing padel for a purpose.
We’re deeply grateful to our amazing host, Racket + Ball – what an epic venue for our tournaments! The food was generously served by Shott Restaurant, keeping both players and spectators fueled and happy throughout the night.
While the night was cold and rainy, the energy on the court and in the crowd brought the real heat. Thanks to every player, supporter, and sponsor, we were once again able to raise and donate R10,000 to the Boys and Girls Club of South Africa — an organization making a lasting impact on youth across the country through academic support, character building, and lifestyle education.
Photos further below captured by the talented team at Cape Town Sports Photography – huge thanks to John & Taz for capturing all the action, passion, and padel spirit of the evening!
