Cape Town’s padel community showed up and showed heart this past Friday night at Racket + Ball Club, Bree Street, for our sold-out Mixed Padel4Good Tournament.
With over 6 hours of back-to-back rallies, fierce competition, and uplifting spirit, it wasn’t just about the game — it was about giving back.
From the very first serve, the energy on court was electric. Teams fought hard through the night, showcasing skill, sportsmanship, and serious stamina. After nearly six hours of thrilling padel action, the top spots were claimed by these incredible teams:
🥇 1st Place: Richard & Kim Woolrich
🥈 2nd Place: GP & Lena-Lisa Bester
🥉 3rd Place: Greg Hahn & Natasha Jansen
While trophies were handed out on court, the biggest win happened off court. Thanks to your participation and support, we were able to donate R10,000 to Tunnel Navigation, a grassroots organisation doing extraordinary work in Belhar, Cape Town.
Since 2020, Tunnel Navigation has served over 100,000 meals, provided tutoring, mentorship, and essential life skills training to children and families in need. But their work is far from done — and they urgently need help. Their current needs include:
- Ingredients for soup kitchens 🍲
- Gas refills and petrol for collecting donations ⛽
- Ongoing financial support to keep operations running 💛
